-Original Design by Hailo, based on Kingdom Hearts- {Back To Cosplay Gallery} Date Completed: October 2003 First Worn at: Halloween 2003, Jpop Dance Party '03 Time Spent: 15 hours Materials Cost: approx. $50 Notes: Hailo really wanted to make Sora's Halloween Town costume from the game Kingdom Hearts and designed a Halloween Town Kairi and Riku to go along with it, since Hailo, myself, and our friend were each obsessed with one of the three characters. This was a lot of fun to make and I just love the designs that Hailo came up with. I think she did an awesome job of combining the design characteristics from both Kingdom Hearts and Nightmare Before Christmas. Hailo and Heather helped out with the accessories and I did all the sewing for our three costumes. There was a pretty equal balance of sewing from scratch and alterations. My favorite part is my awesome hat, which was an old witch hat that I altered. And everyone seems rather excited about my gloves. Basically these were fun to make overall.
